I have close to 30 years experience as an accomplished Golf Professional, currently serving on the Illinois Professional Golfers Association Board of Directors as the Secretary. I’ve been recognized by peers and nominated for Golf Professional of the Year 4 times. Awarded Merchandiser of the Year – Private in 2015. I’m passionate about giving back and participate each year in the Birdies for Charity.

Mentored by great leaders in the Golf Industry, now as a leader and mentor, I firmly believe in paying it forward and encourage staff to rise to their true potential. Under my direction my staff have been awarded teacher of the year, assistant golf professional of the year and have become Head Professionals and Director of Instruction.

I was the Head Golf Professional at Butterfield Country Club, where I served 350 members personally and professionally, and operated a million-dollar business pro shop. I worked with large corporations to fill all of their golf corporate logo needs.

I am currently the Head Golf Professional at Royal Fox Country Club. I own and operate the Pro Shop. I’m part of a terrific team, and I’m very proud to work for Incredible Ownership Group. The owners’ drive and determination to make Royal Fox great again motivates me.

I am currently on the Srixon Ambassador Staff Program. The Ambassador program allows you to work side by side with the company to help promote the game of golf with a unique partnership with the company. The business aspect comes naturally when doing what you love.

My teaching philosophy comes from 25 years of building strong teaching fundamentals. I secured great techniques while working at the John Jacob Schools of Golf in Arizona. I have been trained, and utilze, the very best in teaching equipment, V!Pro and Track Man.I have taught every type of student, from beginner to adcanced. My students always come back to me and say the same thing…”Thanks you for teaching me how to enjoy the game of golf.” Some lessons are just about making a connection with them.

I am currently teaching private lessons over the winter at the state-of-the-art indoor facility at Tour Edge. Lessons are geared towards long and short game and instilling good practice and techniques. Success in this game depends less on strength of body than strength of mind and character.” A great quote from Arnold Palmer.
